The text for this website was written by, R. Brooks Jeffery, Associate Vice President, Research at the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (CALA) at the University of Arizona. Among his publications, Jeffery has written Joesler & Murphey: An Architectural Legacy for Tucson(1994), which is available for $15 (plus $2 shipping/handling). 

Many of the drawings and illustrations for this website came from the Joesler/Murphey Collection at the Arizona Architectural Archives. The mission of the Arizona Architectural Archives is to raise awareness of Tucson’s architectural heritage as an integral part of its overall cultural identity. Its goal is to collect, preserve, document and disseminate records pertaining to the architectural development of southern Arizona. The continuing operation of the Arizona Architectural Archives ensures the availability of these cultural records for future generations. Many of the drawings and illustrations for this website came from the Joesler/Murphey Collection, housed in Special Collections at the University of Arizona Libraries.
